Are hogwons more crooked in this market? They seem desperate these days. Wages are rising. Teachers that I know personally are being stiffed for cash left and right. Any thoughts on this issue?
It isn't good to get higher wages if the employer stiffs you on your return air ticket, your one month's severance pay, or the "deposits" than unreputable schools are using more and more often. Folks, don't pay key money to move in to your school-sponsored apartment. It's a scam. You don't have to pay it, and you often will not get that money back...or you will only get part of it back.
